Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez (born September 9, 1965)[1] is an American actor from America. She is best known for her roles in the film Selena as Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) as well as Marcela Quintanilla (mother of Selena) in the movie Selena (1997). She played Regina Vasquez's character on the ABC Family/Freeform drama Switched at Birth (2011-17). She is currently in Camila Diaz in the star of the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (1999). Marie started her acting career in her teens. In 1988, she was offered her first role in Salsa. Other credits on film and television include Early Edition, Dirty Dancing, Selena, Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was selected to play the role as Angie Lopez in the ABC comedy series George Lopez. Marie was the lead in the comedy-drama Tortilla Soup, alongside Jacqueline Obradors and Hector Elizondo. She was also a part of the PBS drama American Family. In the month of October, 2007, she started her own clothing line "The Constance Marie Collection". [2] She was also featured in an ad by PETA encouraging people to spay/neuter pets. 3 Marie was the legal and birth mother of one of her daughters Regina Vasquez. She played the role of a character in the drama ABC Family/Freeform Switched at Birth from 2011 until 2017.
